Alyssa McKeeman, NCC, LAPC

Alyssa McKeeman, NCC, LAPC

Alyssa is a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) and Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC) in Atlanta who provides individual and family therapy to adolescents and adults who struggle with self-harm, body image, eating disorders, anxiety and depression. She received her master’s degree (M.Ed.) and education specialist degree (Ed.S.) from Clemson University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Alyssa operates mostly from a cognitive behavioral standpoint where she believes that your thoughts impact your mood and behaviors. She also utilizes mindfulness training in session where clients work on being present in the moment without judgment. Alyssa currently sees clients in private practice in the Midtown/Buckhead area of Atlanta. Alyssa enjoys paddleboarding, hiking, yoga, playing with her dog and traveling.
