Brittany O’Brien, MA, is a licensed professional counseling resident in private practice located in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Brittany has an unwavering passion for working with adolescents and adults for the treatment of disordered eating, body dysmorphia, identity exploration, prenatal and post-partum care, LGBT issues, anxiety, and depression. Brittany was inspired to pursue a career in mental health following her own experience with anorexia, bulimia, and anxiety. She utilizes a client-centered and mindfulness based therapeutic approach with an emphasis on intuitive eating and health at every size. In her free time, you can find Brittany shopping for plants, doing yoga, playing with her Goldendoodle, or oil painting.
