Maureen Seel, RDN/LDN, CDE

Maureen is a registered dietitian and a certified diabetes educator working in an outpatient diabetes clinic. Maureen’s true joys and passions in life are helping people and making delicious food. In addition to growing up with Type 1 diabetes, Maureen has battled anorexia in some form since she was in high school. This is what inspires her to provide education and support to those struggling with diseases that affect their relationship with food. Through this site and writing about her experience, she wishes to provide glimpses of hope those struggling with eating disorders as well as to find her own strength and voice in her eating disorder recovery journey.
