Tara Richardson

Tara Richardson is an avid writer hoping to publish her memoir on recovering from depression, social anxiety and bulimia to encourage others (and remind herself) that life is worth living. Tara is a Peer Support Specialist in a hospital devoted to people who have mental health concerns, supporting them by developing and facilitating peer-led wellness groups that focus on building strengths and creating passion after mental illness. Tara is a keen student of positive psychology and is purposefully trying to incorporate these concepts of flourishing into her own life and the life of others. Tara can be found spending time with friends and family, crafting, reading, and writing. Tara’s mantra for life is “I want to live not just survive”.
