What’s Behind the Healing Power of Animals with Shannon Kopp

Dogs are no longer simply “man’s best friend”. Our furry companions are now marking their territory as “an eating disorder warrior’s best friend”. Shannon Kopp, author of Pound for Pound: A Story of One Woman’s Recovery and the Shelter Dogs Who Loved Her Back to Life, shares today about her new nonprofit, SoulPaws! The mission of SoulPaws is to offer holistic and therapeutic support for sufferers of eating disorders while celebrating the healing power of animals and rescuing animals in need. Shannon hopes to share the profound level of healing that she has personally experienced from animals as well as to foster connections for individuals in recovery through SoulPaws workshops.
