Can’t See The Light? Here’s Why The Sun Still Shines [a poem]

The sun is still there,

Even when you can’t see it.

The sun still shines,

Even on bad days.

Just because you can’t see the light,

Doesn’t mean it’s not there.

Maybe some days there’s a cloud,

Blocking the warmth of the sun beams pouring onto the day.

Look beyond the cloud,

Fight through it.

Feel the grayness crumble around you as you break your way through

to the light

The comfort and brightness of

the sun

will begin to shimmer on that day

Once again.

Have hope that these clouds and storms

won’t last forever

Believe that you

have the power and strength

to battle through any darkness

that stands in your way.
