Happy New Year Warriors!
I couldn’t resist kicking off 2017 with the classic warrior series of yoga poses. Now more than ever we need to dig deep and cultivate authentic strength so we can rise up to face what challenges our capacity for peace in ourselves and the world.
This powerful set of standing poses helps us to burn through the layers of Fear, Anxiety and Tension that keeps us from taking compassionate action in caring for ourselves. We’ll begin with Warrior One which teaches that when we err, we always have the opportunity to step forward and do our best to make things right. Warrior One reminders us that ferocity exists not only to destroy barriers to bliss, but to also energize our essence of integrity, compassion, creativity and love.
